Telic Engineering received another assignment to represent MTU Power for the instrumentation and control tasks during an annually or so called 8000 running hours preventative maintenance service checks at the CNOOC Buzzard platform located offshore Aberdeen, Scotland.

These checks are performed on one of their three, GT-A, LM2500+ SAC G4 PGT25 gasturbine-generator packages on board, and maintenance of this gasturbine requires that inspections checks are to be made periodically to reduce unscheduled shutdown time.
Instrumentation as defined in a work pack is visually inspected, calibration verified, loop checked, and/or functional tested. In addition functional verifying safety critical instrumentation systems.
The results of these checks is and extensive report containing the results of the checks, faults identified for which recommendations are issued or actions taken to correct these.
