What we do
Commissioning, service and troubleshooting on turbine packages, by engineers who have done it before. Every job comes with a short daily report and paperwork you can use.
Commissioning management
Leading a multi-discipline commissioning team on site: planning, punch lists, the interface between OEM, packager and client, daily reporting and handover. Site management when the project needs it.
Inspections & field service
4k/8k and annual inspections, safety-critical instrumentation checks, sensor calibrations, functional checks and start-up support after an engine exchange. You get the calibration sheets and a service report before we leave.
Troubleshooting
Trips, failed starts, fuel changeover problems, instability. We read the datalogs, check the control system and find the cause, rather than swapping parts until it works.
Application engineering
GAP and HMI application development and changes, NetSim simulation, Modbus and OPC interfaces, datalogging and sequence changes, FAT and SAT documentation. In the office or on site.
Control upgrades & migrations
NetCon to MicroNet migrations, MicroNet Plus and TMR commissioning, HMI/SCADA updates, protection and overspeed systems.
Fuel & auxiliary systems
Gas and liquid fuel metering valves, dual-fuel calibrations, actuators, VG/VSV schedules and water wash systems.
DLE mapping & emissions
Mapping and emissions testing on LM2500 and LM6000 DLE packages, combustion optimisation and dual-fuel mapping, with our own experienced mapping engineers.
Need more than one engineer? For campaigns, two jobs at once, or a mechanical or instrument engineer next to the controls engineer, we bring in contractors from our own network. Operating the equipment yourself? We also work directly for operators and owners: troubleshooting, inspections between overhauls, control health checks and upgrades, on your PO. Where an OEM service contract is in place, we work alongside the OEM team, not around it. Ask us →

About Telic
Telic Engineering is Remco Petersen's company. Remco is a control and instrumentation engineer (B.Eng.) and has been commissioning, tuning and repairing turbine packages since 1998, mostly aero-derivative gas turbines with Woodward and GE controls: first at Woodward and a GE service company, and since 2008 on his own. Telic Engineering Ltd followed in 2010, and in 2026 the company became Telic Engineering B.V., registered in Amsterdam.
Remco is on most jobs himself and is the back-up for every engineer we send. When a job needs more people, or a mechanical or instrument engineer next to the controls engineer, we bring in contractors from our network, people he knows personally. They work under our agreement, our insurance and our reporting, so you still deal with one company and one person.
We are based in Amsterdam and work anywhere, offshore and onshore. Short notice is normal for us. Dutch, English and some German on site.

We are in the supplier systems of Woodward, MTU, GE Vernova and Turner ECS. Questionnaires, NDAs, compliance portals: send them over and we fill them in.
Insured
Liability cover of EUR 2,000,000 and professional indemnity of EUR 1,000,000, with Lloyd's underwriters. Worldwide, except USA and Canada.
Offshore certified
OPITO/BOSIET, MIST, offshore medical, VCA. We check the certificates before every job and send you copies before travel.
One contract, one contact
Our assignment agreement, or your PO and your terms. A daily report to your project lead and a close-out report within five working days.
